The Colours

The fibres can all be hand dyed in small batches to ensure a perfect saturation and colour match. We have chosen 18 wonderful hues as part of our collection however we can also match to a colour sample.

The Details

Beyond traditional flatweave construction, Cape Looms offers a rich variety of textures and finishes that bring depth, movement and individuality to each piece. From tightly woven flatweaves with a clean, architectural feel, to cut-loop and shag detailing that creates isolated bands of texture across the surface, every rug is designed to feel deeply layered and entirely bespoke. Embroidered detailing and hand over-stitching can be introduced to add further dimension, allowing pattern and texture to emerge beautifully through the weave.

Please note that our rugs contain natural materials and are made by hand, and so some variations in colour and texture may occur. Samples will be woven to correspond to each design in the collection as shown above, if you have any particular requirements or requests please get in touch.
